16 role families · 6 sectors · One scoring model

Career risk, ranked.

Every role family in our scoring model, ordered by automation weighting. The weighting sets the floor of a risk score. The other seven quiz answers (routine share, AI usage, company posture) decide the rest. Find your family, read the case, then score the part no table can see.

Methodology

How the model scores a career.

The assessment asks 8 questions. Every answer carries a weight, and the weights sum to a score normalized against the 109 points a worst-case set of answers would produce. Tier boundaries sit at 25, 50, and 75: Low, Moderate, High, Critical. Every point traces to an answer, in both directions.

Your role family sets up to 14% of the total. Your industry sets up to 9%. The remaining six questions carry the most weight as a group: how much of your week is routine, how much a well-prompted AI could already do, whether your company is restructuring around AI, and whether you use AI yourself. That last one is the strongest protective factor we score. People who direct the tools are harder to replace with them.

The weightings draw on the same research cited across this site: MIT's estimate that 11.7% of US jobs are replaceable with current AI, Challenger's count of 54,836 AI-cited US layoffs in 2025, and Mercer's finding that 89% of workers are anxious about AI. The model turns that landscape into a number you can argue with.
